The Democratic Republic of the Congo (DR Congo) represents one of the world's most vital resource basins, housing immense deposits of copper, cobalt, tin, tantalum, and gold. Mining corridors in provinces like Lualaba and Haut-Katanga operate under harsh environments where machinery operates around the clock. The extreme mechanical stresses exerted on conveyor pulleys, heavy crushers, mud pumps, and screening machinery demand exceptionally durable rotary elements.
Dust ingress is the leading cause of bearing failure in DR Congo's open-pit and underground mining operations. When fine, abrasive mineral dust penetrates a bearing's inner raceway, it acts as a grinding paste, accelerating wear and causing premature spalling. The 6300 Series Deep Groove Ball Bearings, with their extra-deep raceways and superior sealing structures, provide the structural integrity and reliability necessary to mitigate downtime in these remote regions.
The global bearing manufacturing sector is shifting rapidly toward precision metallurgy and intelligent diagnostic capabilities. Industrial operators globally are adopting condition monitoring technology, which tracks real-time vibration frequencies and thermal outputs of critical bearings to predict failures before they occur.
Furthermore, sustainability goals drive manufacturers to focus on friction reduction. Minimizing rolling friction directly translates to lower energy consumption in high-voltage industrial motors. This global trend aligns with the design principles of the SILL brand, where low-noise, low-vibration, and long-life properties are prioritized during the GCr15 carbon-chromium steel heat treatment and grinding phases.
Established expertise in producing high-accuracy deep groove ball bearings and customized rotary components.
SILL BEARING FACTORY is located in the beautiful and affluent place named Hangzhou Bay New Zone. Our facility is strategically positioned near two of the largest ports in China: Shanghai Port and Ningbo Port. It is adjacent to the Hangzhou-Ningbo Expressway, 329 State Line, and the Hangzhou-Ningbo Railway Line. This provides efficient logistics, as it is only a 90-minute drive to either Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport or Ningbo Lishe Airport.
To expand our production capacity, our new factory, Anhui TOPB IMP.&EXP. Co., Ltd., is under construction. Once fully operational, our annual production capacity is projected to increase by $20 million, enabling us to support large-scale mining operations and distributor agreements throughout the African continent.
Our factory specializes in designing, researching, and producing Deep Groove Ball Bearings (ranging from ¢ 4mm to ¢ 120mm), Tapered Roller Bearings, and other non-standard bearings. We use superior quality GCr15 bearing steel. Backed by advanced automatic production equipment, modern enterprise management, and strict manufacturing crafts, we demand our workers to handle each bearing with precision and care.
We maintain a rigorous quality assurance protocol consisting of five specific procedures to ensure a 100% acceptance rate:
Our proprietary brands, SILL and NETB, are known for their low noise, low vibration, minimal friction, high rotational accuracy, robust sealing mechanisms, and extended service life. Our bearings are used worldwide in household appliances, micro motors, electric fans, motorcycles, automobiles, medical instruments, sports machinery, and agricultural machinery.
Engineering breakdown of the heavy-duty deep groove design optimized for high-vibration applications.
The 6300 series features deeper raceway grooves compared to the 6000 or 6200 series. This geometric design allows the bearing to handle high radial loads while supporting a degree of axial loading in both directions. The deeper grooves accommodate larger ball complements, raising the dynamic load rating (Cr).
By utilizing premium GCr15 high-carbon chromium bearing steel, our components undergo martempering or austempering processes. This treatment achieves a surface hardness of 60-65 HRC, ensuring resistance to fatigue wear, micro-cracking, and structural deformation under stress.
We offer multiple sealing options including open, metal shields (ZZ), and double-lip heavy contact rubber seals (2RS). For applications in DR Congo, we recommend the 2RS nitrile butadiene rubber seals to prevent the ingress of abrasive dust and retain internal lubrication.

In open-pit mining environments like Kolwezi, ambient mineral dust is highly abrasive. We configure our 6300 bearings with reinforced double-lip contact seals (2RS) and high-density, dust-repellent synthetic greases to prevent contaminants from reaching the inner raceway.
To combat high humidity and temperature variations in DR Congo, our bearings are manufactured using high-stabilization heat treatments. This ensures dimensional stability up to 150°C and prevents oxidation during shipping and storage.
Crushing and screening machinery subjects bearings to continuous shock loads. By specifying C3 or C4 internal clearances and using machined brass cages, our bearings effectively manage vibration and prevent micro-fracturing of the rolling elements.

The 6300 series features a larger ball diameter and deeper grooves, providing higher radial load capacity compared to 6000 and 6200 series bearings. This design is highly effective at absorbing dynamic shock loads, which are common in mining machinery like vibrating screens, conveyor pulleys, and ore crushers.
We recommend using our double-lip contact rubber seals (labeled as 2RS or 2RSH) made of high-quality nitrile butadiene rubber. These seals provide a tight barrier against micro-fine ore dust and water spray. Additionally, we pack our bearings with heavy-duty lithium complex grease, which fills the internal void to resist contamination.
Yes, we specialize in design modifications and custom mechanical configurations. Whether you need specialized inner/outer ring dimensions, specific radial clearance settings (such as C3 or C4), or custom lubrication ports, our engineers can customize solutions using high-grade GCr15 steel to meet your specifications.
Since our factory is located near Ningbo and Shanghai ports, we can quickly dispatch container shipments. For deliveries to the Katanga mining region (e.g., Lubumbashi, Kolwezi), cargo is typically routed via the Port of Dar es Salaam (Tanzania) or the Port of Durban (South Africa), followed by road transit along key development corridors.
